Hi!

Out on a week long business trip to Kathmandu in Nepal, took me closer to the people of this colorful region.

It is the people who represent a nation, not the mountains or buildings or the cars – and this photo documentary is comprised of street photos that form a colorful kaleidoscope of the cheerful people of Kathmandu.

I found the Nepalis friendly and hospitable and the rich local culture omnipresent be it Buddhist, Hindu,or otherwise.

I have mixed in a Nepali folk song that can be heard on slideshow mode – click on the top right corner on the slideshow button and turn up the volume!

Wow, wow, wow, Rags. You really know how to capture local action and color. Sorry it's taken me a while to get the chance to go through these slowly. It was a pleasure. Keep up the fine work. Nice to see you in that unintended selfie!

Best,

Howard

How colourful!

Next time please tell your boss that you need to take along a couple (one will carry your cameras around and one will discuss the photographs taken) on every business trip.
